Hey, i think my k750 is completely dead because it won't turn on and I can no longer connect my phone with any software (far mager, SEUS, davinchi, Gslide, Gflash, etc). I think my erom is dead cause this happend after i tried to patch my firmware.
Anyway
What i need to know is that can i buy the k750 crusier cable or must i buy the box too that is normally included too so that i can reflash the EROM...
cause as i said, none of the flash programs can connect with the regualar dsc-60 cables so i'm guessing that the crusier cable can work.
btw i've already tried:
unplugging the battery
charging the battery overnight
plug phone to computer by pressing "C"
plug phone to computer by pressing "2" and "5"
just any about any flash program other than "sonic box"
taking to a sony service center isn't really an option |

Sorry to hear this. What patch did you try with your phone? The patch must be the same as your firmware.

i tried paching my r1bc002 firmware with:
1. change layout to other
2. change menu to other
I know for sure they were for the right firmware type, but I’m not so sure they were for the right region.

I think SETOOL can fixed your phone. Give a look at topsony.com forums.

Dude, I had the same experience when I first tried patching and I killed my w800. EROM cannot be repaired COMPLETELY with the ordinal DCU60 cable. I think you have to buy service (cruiser) cable or make one of your own. The Custom cruiser service cable scheme can be found here:
http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=3360
First try with your ordinal DCU60, you may be lucky , who knows. If not, when you got the cable just download SETool from the link below. I uploaded it for you in case you cannot download files from pages like topsony.com .
SeTool download:

And, if you need some further help about flashing EROM, just PM me.
Update: Here you can find another guide how to repair dead K750 with the EROM messed up. Software is included also:

it sucks, but the DCU60 does not work.
Can someone comfirm that the service (cruiser) cable does work?
I'm a bit confused with the crusier cable... do you need the ~100 dongle or box that is normally included or will the cable be enough? |

The cable I used to repair my dead w800 with the EROM messed up worked perfectly. I made a cable of my own using the scheme on SE-NSE. Actually that box you pay for when buying an expensive service cable is almost the same with the Black box of the DCU11 (K700 cable). So it should work if you buy only a service cable. The service cable has a black box also which has processor in it which breaks the way through the dead phone allowing you to access and repair it's EROM.

Thanks strizlow800....
I just bought the cable from ebay so its going to take a 2 weeks to arrive. Until then, i read that sonicbox can sometime work while others cant. The only place that i found it at is topsony but i have to wait a month to download... does else have that program?

I just fixed my phone today with sonics. I guess the only thing that kinda gave me problems is that for my phone you have to unplug the battery for like a minute before connecting it to the service cable in order it for it to detect. Other than that, i really didn't run into any major problems.
THANKS strizlow800 for everything |
