W850i, ported number but displays old temporary number on phone status |

Hi all,
As title really, I ported my old number over from O2 to Orange (UK), and it works fine with incoming & outgoing calls/texts but on the phone status it still shows the old number.
I cant find a setting to change this, and I dont really know why it bothers me but it does!!!
anyone able to help?

Go to your phonebook options... then look for Special Numbers then look for My Numbers then edit your mobile number.. hope this helps

Yeah tried that.
You can go right upto Special Numbers > My special Numbers then my mobile number but you cant edit it. At the bottom of the screen it says view on the left and blank on the right.
I guess it must be because its an Orange Branded phone?
Unless anyone else has any ideas?
