I`m sure this has been asked before and if so i appolgise.

I am about to come to the end of my `3` contract and they have offered me the chance to unlock my n70 to all networks for a fee of £15.00.
My question is does other networks offer this service as my son has a nokia n80 that i would like although unfortunately at present it`s locked to orange and i would like to use the handset on t-mobile.
thanks in advance

As far as I know, with the new Nokia phones - especially the Symbian ones, they do charge and it is normal

But just wait for someone else to confirm, Im always very paranoid

Hope it helps

yeah the N70 is a BB5 handset and as yet cannt be unlocked by anyone other than your operator and £15 isnt a bad price at all..

i'd get it done!

Orange also offers this, dunno how much it costs, but expect a bit more, 15,- is cheap .

Afaik (I'm from the Netherlands, so correct me, if I'm wrong) you'll have to be the original owner, so your son will have to ask for it.

This is the only way to unlock these phones, as N80 also is a BB5 phone.
