I seem to have difficulty connecting my T68 to the Ipaq via IR. It says its connecting, but never does. The Ipaq has is the problem, because I have been able to connect the T68 with other IR ready phones.

Anyone else having a similar problem? Any Suggestions?

If you can upgrade to PocketPC 2002 it works great. If not you need to use Peacemaker from www.conduits.com.

I've got a 3630 and have not upgraded to 2002. I had no problems connecting my IPAQ to either my laptop or my T68 using the IR port, so it does work. I use the link to update the phone book and sim card through a sim card manager. (Sunnysoft)

Thats what I had to do. Download the software from the above link and it appears to update your IR beam on the iPaq. Works well enough apart from the odd Work numbers getting mixed up with Home numbers.

Is it worth using SMS software to send via infrared from iPaq to T68. If so whats the best package?

Does anyone know of any decent Pocket PC software that can be used to store and transfer GIF images to the T68 via Infrared? I know there's software for Palms and standard laptops but not for an iPAQ.
