Hi all,
I purchased just a t68i board as i already had a spare housing.
I can get into the service menu to find my software version OK (R2E006).
BUT how can i find out my hardware revision without the aid of the imei sticker?
Is there any way to tell if i have purchased a genuine t68i borad or a t68 board which has been upgraded to a t68i.
please help

by compairing the systemboard with a T68i or a T68m you will see which model it is... or by checking the tac number (first six numbers of the IMEI)... |

Great, now is there any menu option that will show me my exact hardware revison number e.g r1B or R5A etc
I believe this information is normally on the imei sticker (which i dont have)
thanks again

How much did you pay for the board?
I´m curious because I´ve got a spare housing too. |

tere (hi)
the full story is that i bought a t68i a little while back. It turned out to be a blacklisted handset. (barred on all uk networks)
So I swapped the board with a guy in Malta who also had a board that was blacklisted on all the networks in his country.
So no money changed hands just swapped boards.
