I bought a new sony Memory Stick Pro Duo 1 GB For my W700i. I format it using FAT32. After that I copied some music file through DISC2PHONE software. I copied 15 songs and only 5 songs are copied. But the software shows all the files are copied. When I try to play it shows an error message like "Cannot play the sound". I don't know what is the problem. I used windows explorer also. But the Problem is same. All the songs copied are in MP3 Format. Can anyone help me plzzzzzzzz..

Is your memory stick a genuine one? Try reformatting your card in the phone then re-sending your files

Try again but without Disc2Phone, use windows explorer it's a fail-proof way of getting music on your phone.

Maybe you should have used FAT16 instead in formatting your MSPD?

try it with a different memory stick. thus we know whether the problem is the memory stick or not. i've been successful with all the Mp3s i've copied to my sandisk mspd.

First, why did you format the memory stick? It shouldn't be necessary, it is pre-formatted from factory, and the phone itself can do it if needed also.

Secondly, what's the bitrate oft the mp3 files that cannot play? I think the phone has a maximum limit for bitrates it can handle, 320 Kbps or something, but I'm not sure. Also, I'm not sure if it handles dynamic bitrate. The white paper for K800i states 192 Kbps only.
