I used to have a mca-20 for my t68i, i took it back to the shop because:

1: Images look bad on phone, not a big deal but see 2......

2: There is no way to transfer images to pc via datacable, i am not prepaired to pay for an ir/bt dongle when i payed £30 for a cable and £129 for the camera and e-mail takes so long..... yawn

3: Can't take pictures indoors, even when sent to pc images are sometimes so dark you can't see anything!! I don't mean in a dark room either, i mean in a perfectly well lit room!

4: I don't want a nokia, but the nokia has a low light setting which is supposed to work well..... where is the one on the communicam?

In closing:
I know it's supposed to be just for fun but at £129 when i bought it, it's just not worth it and makes mms a waste of time when you can only take pictures during the time of day that i am at work!!

Any comments are welcome!!

yeah, using the phone as viewfinder sucks... better use the mca-25 instead. it has its own viewfinder. its hard to focus using the mca-20, but its a good buy just for kicks.

if you ever tried the MCA-10 you'd possibly appreciate the MCA-20...i had one for free and got rid of it...piece of sh**, not even worth the fun factor.

Yeah, i have never used the mca-10. But it's the same reason i got rid of the mca-20. I would hope the mca-25 would be better but it seems there is still no low light feature.

the things with camera's of all kinds is the quality of picture is dependant on light by design, so unless it has a flash its not gonna be happening and i wouldnt expect a flash on a phone's camera...basically the MCA-20 just didnt live up to your expectations, whereas the MCA-10 is just a piece of sh** designed to make the 20 look good.

Why did you pay £30 for a cable when you could have got one of these?

The pics I've taken with my MCA-20 here, are all in poor lighting conditions except the one accross the sea.

I don't think they're that bad!

I agree with the light thing to an extent, but i also have a cheep digital camera £50 which takes better pics (640 x 480) inside without the flash, this is a budget camera. The main reason for the communicam for me was to take pictures to mms to people and for my phone book, which is what the camera has been primarily advetised for. So it didn't meet my expectaions cause it didn't meet the hype.... like so many other things.

decoy7> the soon to be released siemens s55 will have a camera attachement that will have a flash built in. According to their specs, 10 flash pictures wil consume 5% of the battery

I have MCA-10. In the beginning my photos were miserable! Then i was adviced to push the camerabutton 2-3 seconds and keep the camera still!
