What will happen to sms?
will people figure out that sms costs too much!!

some people will still stick with sms... a lot of old people out there are afraid of change. and one more thing, there's isnt enough mms capable phones out there in the market to start an mms revolution. mebbe in a couple of years.

Iīm pretty sure that sms is here to stay. Donīt think SMS and MMS fill the same purpose. But maybe the introduction of MMS will lower the price of SMS. Itīs way to expansive to send SMS, atleast in Sweden.

Sms will stay around. Kinda like the newspaper didnt die when the television was invented. They serve different purposes. If i am going to let someone know that i am running late, I wont send an mms.

Mms relies on a gprs cnnectn unlike sms and its faster to send.

truesay, it is very fiddly and only worth using if you have time to do so or if you want to take the pi*s out of a friend using not only text but voice and pics (oh i can see the fun ahead of me)

Can you actually record your voice as a sound to send it thru mms?
I would be using t300 and o2 uk (hopefully mobile will get home on 2 days )

Here in Holland a sms costs about 20 cents, a mms costs about 50 cents.
I prefer email.
