i believe u can. u need a picture viewer software for your pda, though. choose one that supports jpeg and gif formats. |

Thanks. As Palm does not recognize the image file being sent over. I wonder Clie can do it as Clie also running Palm OS. So I really need somebody to try it out with Clie before I empty my wallet to get one Clie. |

This has been discussed before about the Palm OS not supporting JPEG or GIF files natively. Use FunnyPhone from:
http://www.funnysoft.org/
This will at least beam from your Clie or other Palm OS PDA to your phone.

Yes indeed, FunnyPhone able to beam images to Ericsson phone. But I also want to store images in the PDA thru IrDA, which means after I taken photo with the communicam, I want to beam the images to the Palm. If Clie can do it, it would be best. |

cophia is right, this has been discussed before in the palmOS thread. check that out.
if i remember it correctly, you need another app in the palm so it can store the pix. am not sure, i didn't try it in my palm. |

Unfortunately, it won't work with any palm handheld, be it Palm III or the new Palm Tungsten T!!! Buy a pocket pc instead. Prices of pocket pc's are dropping these days. You could buy a pocket pc for less than the price of a sony clie t665c and it would support almost any platform your pc has, be it gif, jpeg, bmp, doc, whatever. you can beam files from t68i to your pda with no more software to add. Plus the added features such as mp3 and video playing. |

You can send pics, themes, and sounds to a palm or clie that has a memory card. You cant save files in ram. You have to save it directly to the card. Just run McFile while receiving and save it to any folder in the card. You can beam these files back to the phone when you need to. |

I can beam contacts and calendar events between my Palm m130 and my T68i with no problems. But I haven't been able to beam pictures (gifs or jpgs) between the two devices. Not sure about the Clie. |

Yes! McFile is great! I stored all my logo and photo inside my palm using McFile.
I finally got a solution.
Thank you so much. |

ZboxZ is able to send any T300/T68 file FROM a Palm device TO your phone, i.e. melodies, themes, images, games.
Still haven't found Palm software to receive (via IR) from the phone though - no reason why it's not possible though. |
