I have tried to discuss this topic but my posts were always taken off the web probably because of someone's shallowness...As I said with controversy, the 7650 is a whole other animal and an overall better machine I strongly recommend it having used it for a while now....

Yeah, I would like to own one. But by the time of it's release, Sony Ericsson will probably have released a matching phone. I usually like Nokias work, but I don't like the design on this phone all too much. It looks too dated, looks like a modified 8210 to me. Considering I just had one of those recently I'd rather not be staring into something that looks just like it

I really believe that Sony Ericsson will release a pretty equal phone, but as with all of Ericssons products before, it'll have some flaws. I think the two phones will be pretty equal all in all though.

My T68 is great for now. Maybe when 3G is out there will be reason to upgrade again.

I think itīs a great phone but not threat to T68. The phone is BIG, HEAVY and BAD standby and talk times. Very diffrent to T68. 7650 is almost as big as three T66, so go and buy three T66 and put them in your pocket!!!

I think that the 7650 is more like a color PDA than a phone.

No threads are removed! It's probably moved to another forum. The ionion1 posts usually fit better in the "Other manufactures" (read: Nokia 7650) forum

My guess is, that your post on the 7650 was put in the wrong forum in the beginning,...it should have been here in the "other manufacturers" forum.
Thats the reason why it was taken off, I guess

Personally I dont mind discussing phones and other brands,..and neither does anybody else in here.

People have different reasons for liking/disliking a brand.

Its peoples own choice, if they dont like the 7650 for some reasons.
Many state that its to big, heavy, and the battery-capacity isnt that good either.

Personally I dont dislike any specific phones.
At the same time I dont "compare" phones.
If you do compare everything, then its pretty hard to be objective.

The 7650 is quite nice, but I dont see it as a competitor to the T-68. I see it as a new idea, of what a phone could look like.
7650 is very different from what we know. Its got a lot of very good/special features.

Nokia knows this too,..why else would they make a "normal" 8310 with color-screen.
They know that not all people, would want to buy the 7650, for different reasons like : size, price, weight.

Sonyericsson should come with a similar phone in March (according to different sources),...and this phone surely will not replace the T-68.
Because again,..this is a different kind of phone.

And I do believe we will see more 7650-like phones in the future as well.
E.g. mix of pda, phone, camera, mp3 and so on.
They're becomming more personal, user-friendly, and built for specific purposes.

I wanna try out both the Nokia 7650 and hopefully the new as well.

I must say that on the pictures that I've seen, the 7650 looks absolutely GORGEOUS!!! But I DO think it's a bit big, heavy and the screen will probably get scratched which will make you feel REALLY sad...

I think it WILL be a success, but I'm not sure if I'll buy it yet.... I'll have to see it in 'real life' first

I bet this phone will cost an arm and a leg... too bad it is not triband, but I bet it would become popular for those who can afford it.
