I have had a W880i for a week now, and have just noticed that it is not keeping any of my recent call logs, any calls that were in the lists are being removed when next called, any ideas????

the firmware is like the Operating System(OS) the mobile has. if you wanna know your firmware press: >*<<*<* a menu will sms up(service menu), then go to service info and then software info. the first line should say something like this: R1CA021 or R1BD001

Yes my 880i does this also... firmware version is R1C002.

I have emailed sony erricson about this problem. It does logg calls dialed, received and missed but the call log screen is full - at the moment I have to manually clear the call logs before new ones will be stored and displayed.

I can't find any settings in the phone that relate to how these logs are kept/deleted/pruned...

Where are firmware updates available from? And how do we install them?
