I recently got a P990i but I'm not sure the 3G connection is configured correctly.

I get the little 3G attached icon in the tool bar whenever the 3G signal is good enough. But if I connect to the web then check the connection manager all data transfer is logged against the GPRS connection and I have no entry in the list of internet accounts relating to 3G.

Is 3G transfer logged against the GPRS connection when it's attached or am I missing an internet connection setup for 3G. I'm in the UK on the Organge network if it makes any difference.

Any help much appreciated

when ur 3G network is on is only bcos of GPRS
let u tell one thing clear with GPRS the 3G network will not function, if the 3G signal is showing in your phone ask for data package setting to access the 3G network

You need a 3G data plan to be active on your sim. Check with your provider.
