I liked the old one better, but I'm alright with the new one. The only thing I really think should come back is the logo.
I don't want a signature anymore. |

pls dont forget, thats esao is laffens baby, so he has the right for any changes without permission. i dont like the logo and the layout, but esato will be as it always was, one of the most respected forums on the entire net! its up to us, how we fill it up, so we shouldnt focus on the layout, more that we all keep on to meet eachother here and support eachother.
esato is working fine, better than before
lets put it on that way. if a night club isnt working well, not the furnitures has to be changed... at esato, we are open 24/7 and th guests are usually more than happy when they leave

i find it abit cybershot style. i feel thike the warm soul of esato is lost and replaced by a cold cool look.
but i really liked the way it was.
something are better left like they are.

At the moment i am not liking the new forum for many reasons but as i have said before i am going to reserve my judgement until it is finished!
I don't like the brightness of the site and the fact that i have to turn the brightness down on my monitor to see who is online! nor do i like the fact the posts fill the screen, i think there should be an option to adjust the width, i really dont mind that a website doesn't use up all of my 19" screen, honest! i also don't like the way the photo's aren't handled correctly when trying to view them fully!
But like i say, i don't think laffen is finished yet and expect these and other glitches to be taken care of before he has, until then the old site gets my vote!

There's an answer-option missing: - "well,err...yes....makes a good beta-version but adjust after feedback!". Or along those lines. I couldn't say "no", "yes" nor the other... Voted "yes" eventually, but mostly to see the results (only 41 this afternoon after all the furore and indignation... Just like elections?!)

No offence to Laffen, but i really do reckon he should of consulted us the members before making such drastic changes. I know its his site, and he runs it, pay s for it maintains it with help from the mods etc and i know he can do what the hell he likes with this site but surely the people who keep the site alive, us the members should have a say, after all i know it wont happen but if everyone was to leave what would this place be..... nuthin.
Saying that, i have got used to the layout cant say i love it but meh....

not to get too close to laffen's ar*e, but I think he would've been foolish to "consult"... Could you imagine the flood of suggestions?! I'm sure he noticed some of the nag-posts over the time - and then bang! You can always make adjustments later! Don't get me wrong, I find it currently hard to maneauvre esato on w810 via opera mini, but it's o.k. on pc and my "man"'s e61...
But back to the point: how long do you suggest that consultation should've lasted? Realistically? Until every member contributed? A week? A year? Until YOU are happy but 500 "minorities" aren't...
No, I guess s.o. had to do it - BUT: he should now listen to suggestions.
