I see many comments about R1B crashing. I have R1B and have had one crash needing battery removal to restart. But...how do you get the firmware into the phone?

Sorry if answer is somewhere obvious and I just do not see it.

Thanks

You cant do this yourself

You need to go to for example, an Ericsson service center,..they will upgrade the software.
I just had it done today,..and it shouldn't cost you anything.

What they do is this : They download a "software-kit" from a speciel site (ericssons own i guess).
Then they put a cable in the bottom of your phone,..takes about 15 minutes,..then you got a newer software-version.
And all your data is still there afterwards, or at least, it should be
My data (everything in the phone) was still there after the upgrade.
