in my w810i ofently gprs icon appears automatically mostly after reciving and making a call and some times at standby mode without any reason.but phone not connects gprs thoes times only the icon appears.is this a software bug? i have CXC1250317 R4EA031 software on my w810

no the letter G always apears near signal bars as my network gives only gprs.what i mean by gprs icon is that littel earth icon appears when you surf wap with phone.

g means you are in the range of gprs and you can access it. globe means you are using it.

it's weird! how come that icon appears if your not browsing the net? well, this icon appears when receiving/sending email and mms also.

yes, it appears when sending/receiving mms because your mobile connects to the operator's mms server.

then u should let it flash or upgrade, hopefully its fw bug, not hw
