I'm using a p990i with its supplied headset and its working fine with radio means i can get a strong signal to all radio station. But when i used my hpm-65, the signal is very weak compared to the supplied headset of the p990i. I'm using a different earpiece on the hpm-65. What do you think mates??

Iīve heard that this problem itīs related to the regulation of the ear piece. So, try to change the earpiece to see if the sound quality improves.

Yes, it may happen because headset works as a antenna, and when you change it's antenna (a different headset) it's resistance (impedance) would change. So it will affect the receiver's output.
