is it possibile? it is very annoyng when i receive an huge file from a phone with a slow BT connection. I can't use my phone until the transfer is end.

if you dont mind,this is impossible....
although SE did it's work great to develop Java this perfect,just look other Java phone like samsung,nokia...here you can mark,copy paste,veiw info......these are all great for a java based phone,as you see SE has one of the best file managers through out there
so,don't be that sad

Excuse me...but all java based phones has this function, not only Symbian based phones.
My girlfriend's cell, a samsung z500 (with java) send all bluetooth transfer to background... Same thing with a Nokia without Symbian....o a Motorola....
So i think it is only a software limitation...
I can use the popup menu when i transfer data with BT, but the "popup" of BT tranfer is always in front.... So i think the cell is not completely blocked when i use BT... |

so,there are java phones which can do this,although i havent seen...
then,not software limitation,umm knowledge limitation of mine
