The Sony Energy LINK USB has the ability to power up most portable, USB-compatible electronics devices. The Energy LINK USB portable power supply and adaptor is packaged with two AA rechargeable Cycle Energy batteries and is fully charges in about 3 hours. The new power supply can also use with most USB-compatible MP3 players, mobile phones and other USB-powered devices.

I've seen a much smaller device that does the same thing, except that it needs to be charged from the mains. Can't find a picture of it online, I saw it in a computer shop. Don't think it's from any of the established brands though.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

This could come in handy for people who listens to a lot of mp3s.
