Hello all!
I have K750i but if any other phone could be used for the following purpose it's also very good.
I'm trying to use two phones as modems through GSM (not through GPRS), to transmit and receive data from two devices connected to these phones via BlueTooth or cable.
I don't need to use PC or PDA, and I don't need to connect to Internet.
I just need to use two phones as hardware modems to connect to each other through GSM, and to transmit data from devices connected to the phones. (These devices are not PC-based, they are actually high-accuracy GPS devices with serial port and BlueTooth and they just transmit data over the serial port, so no driver or any kid of software can be installed on them).
This is the same like the radio modems work. (Or just like connecting two PCs with modems and ordinary phone line directly).
Does anyone have some experience or suggestions on how to do that?
What mobile phones do support this?
Is it a built-in function and I just need to know the right option in the phone, or I need an extra software?
