I remember a while ago ericsson and microsoft announced formed an alliance. I still havnt seen anything come from that relationship. Does anyone know anything?

They only released one product (some software)... a couple of mouths ago they disbanded it

Does anybody remember what the fruit of this cooperation was?

I think Ericsson must have gained some background on tings like IrDA... the IrDA handling on the Ericsson phone is a lot better than the Nokias.

Yes, thats true. Ericsson phones have better IRda than Nokia phones, they have always had better IR
