It's a tough one, but I'd have to say the mermaid...
Yes, if both human and mermaid were dying out and you were the last two to save the races, you'd be pretty gutted. But still I'd have to look at that fish head every day and that's just not nice, even if you could manage to ignore that and keep your eyes down. Anyway, the mermaid is just beautiful all over, the tail isn't that bad.

I choose A, because if you dry the mermaids bottom half it becomes legs, its only when its wet that it turns into a tail, and then she can catch some fish for me to!
