Kit needed to repair a Sony Ericsson? |

I have looked on ebay, and the only kit I can find for taking the phone apart to repair it are screwdrivers, tweezers, and a magnifying glass. What do you need to 'open up', and 'change parts' of an SE? |

Torx screwdrivers. Surgical gloves and a broad flat knife for prizing. ;)

I presume the gloves are for handling delicate objects that would be damaged by finger prints. |

No, they're for stopping static discharge which would fry the hardware I think.

If you want to stop static discharge then you are a lot better to wear an anti-static strap that goes round your wrist or ancle and then plugs into a mains socket (dont worry, it only connects to the earth pin).

HELP!!!! i have an k800i from SE and i wouldn't start.when i press de power button it flashes a red light a coupple of time at the infrared port . can you help me solve this. thanx |
