Bluetooth connection, W810, MPE and Windows Vista |

I have the latest MyPhoneExplorer installed and am running Vista Business on my laptop. It's a laptop I've had for about 2.5 years, but drivers for just about everything installed flawlessly with Vista--even for my BT radio. I think.
I say that I think because I'm having funky issues when I establish a BT connection between my W810 and MPE on Vista. Connecting works fine.. and I can send messages, but whenever I try to sync something MPE pretty much tries forever, locking up in the process.
I have not installed any drivers/software from SE. I just let Vista handle everything so far, and well, it's not handling it too well it turns out. All of this worked just fine when I was running Windows XP, though I don't remember if I ever installed drivers there.
I think the problem is caused by the file transfer protocol.. or perhaps even the modem in the W810? Either way.. do you guys know more about this or do you have any suggestions?
EDIT:
I downloaded the latest FMA to check and I know at least a bit more about the problem. Both MPE and FMA have problems with the OBEX protocol. Anyone know more?

OBEX issues.. the combo of Vista, MyPhoneExplorer and my W810i seems to have clear OBEX issues. I cannot transfer any files from my phone to my computer, for example, which is something I used to be able to do easily!
Does anyone have any ideas on this? |
