I'm getting so frustrated with my K800i, cannot get the A2DP to work. First, I got the Scosche in car A2DP receiver, I was able to use this as a hands free, no problem! But the media player plays sound in the phone's speaker, how the heck do I get it to go to the Scosche? I heard that older Firmware versions the Media player had an option to "Transfer Sound" I'm tempted to start learning how to revert my firmware....

Secondly, I thought, to see if I can get ti to work with my Computer which supports A2DP, (under the supported profiles) I connected it as a hands free, and got the hands free call functions working just fine, really easy! But again the media player wont transfer to the computer, so I'm thinking I'm missing a step in my phone's software. Is there a way to make it connect as A2DP not a Hands free?

Please, any ideas could help me so much. If you could explain any solutions you found to connect to any other A2DP device, it could prove relevant. Thanks!

Have you tried pairing it with a standard stereo bluetooth headset?

I have no problem using bluetooth stereo at all. I got r1gb firmware. Have you tried using other stereo bluetooth device? Sometime different brand have compatibility problem.
Edit: I was using gprs for earlier response so need to keep it brief. To add to my comment, I am using i-tech blueband stereo bluetooth headphone. Streaming works perfectly as do receiving/makin call, but I still have not manage to do voice dial using it. Well, but I bought it mainly for hearing music so I don't mind that it can't do voice dial (after all it is different brand so few quirks is to be expected).

I'm using a sony A2DP stereo headset and it works with my W850 with no problems whatsoever.

Though I haven't tried pairing it with other A2DP devices, I know that bluetooth streaming does work.

I have no other bluetooth stereo headsets as I have no use for them. I would think I would be able to connect to my computer with A2DP at least though?

I wonder if some of you could try this and see if you can get it to work? The Call portion of this just came over my speakers with no extra programs or anything.

I may have to start exploring other devices for use in my truck. But I really want it to be Bluetooth, and the Scosche was the only option I found that is powered by 12volts.

I was wondering what others thought of this... When I query my phone from my computer the services available are:
Dial-up Networking
Handsfree
HID Mouse and Keyboard
OBEX File Transfer
OBEX IrMC Sync Server
OBEX Object Push
PAN Network
Serial Port

but when I query my computer of it's own available services:
Audio Gateway <-----------A2DP?
Printer
Fax
bluetooth imaging
pim item transfer
headset (Same as hands free on K800?)
Network access
pim syncronization
pim file transfer

So They all look different, and when i connect my computer as a handsfree, the audio gateway shows not in use. I also get most of these including audio gateway when querying the computer services form my phone.

Does this mean anything to anyone, shouldn't my phone also show audio gateway, as my computer and the scosche adapter do?

Hey

Wish I had read this before I spent my money

I too purchased a Scosche to use in my car. And despite it pairing with my K800i and saying that it supports "Audio Streaming"... It doesn't work.

I can't find out how to transfer sound and surprise... Sony Ericsson are no help.

Did anyone every manage to find out a way to get Bluetooth Streaming working on a K800i?
