I'm considering buying one of these music cables, but was wondering how they work. I have used a mmr-60 fm transmitter with my w800 and my w810. My question is really this: When you plug in a mmc-60 or mmc-70, does it auto play or do you have to select yes. What's the interface? On the mmr-60, I have to press the 'play' button on the phone AND I also have to hit 'yes' when it asks me if i want to transmit on a frequency.
So, are mmc-60 or mmc-70 like headphones or like the mmr-60?
What I'd really like is something like when I plug the w800 into my pc. The pc will auto-play the music without pressing any buttons. Of course, on my w810, the phone asks me if I want 'File Transfer' or 'phone' modes, so...well, i don't know it that is the PC suite or the w810.
Thanks,
chris

I have an mmc-60 but these cables are meant to connect your phone with an amplifier (note the rca exits) not with a computer. the mmc-70 has an exit for a 3.5mm jack that you can connect either to a microphne jack on your hi fi system and using your phone menu you can play your phone music on your hi fi component . what you want can be done via the windows media player, connect your phone via file transfer and go to the music folder and select the music files and play them via the media player. but ONLY using your PC not your phone.

ok, if the mmc-60 is connected to my hi-fi. when i plug it into my phone, do I only have to hit the 'play' button, or do I have to hit 'ok' like i do on the mmr-60?
thanks,

The problem with using the 3.5mm extension with the HPM-70 (or something similar) is that if a call goes through, the conversation could be heard through the same speakers you hear the music through.
The beauty about using the MMC-60 music cable is that if a call is made/received, you stll use the phone's mic and speaker because the phone acts as if there is no accessory attached to it.

thanks,
I've read somewhere here that the mmc-60 would provide better sound than hpm-70 and an RCA-3.5mm jack
have a good weekend everyone,
