some time when i look at my phone to see what time it is, i see emergency call only on it. what is the reason for this? did i accidentally press something when its in my pocket?

It means you have no signal with your network but you can still make an emergency call over someone elses network if need be.

i got a w810i. it happen again when i was in class. but i had 4 bar reception

well matey, emergency calls appears when sim card is not installed on. when i had my k300, the simcard used to get "unrecongnizable". so i used to take it off and put it on again. it solved the problem. maybe's the same with you. is your simcard new or what?

I think your carrier just doesn't have very good signal at your school. However, another one does, so you should switch to that one.

Try your sim in a different phone and see if there's much difference in the signal, could be your phone has some sort of signal fault?

It's because your network coverage goes that you get that emergency number message.
