Hi,
I have a problem with my new headset (HBH-DS970).
So I activate Bluetooth on my phone (k800i) and set in on visible, then I start my headset ... but nothing happens. Even if I search for the headset while starting it or pressing the play button its just not visible.
If I plug in my V3i and search for it, it appears instantly. The headset even binds to it automatically like it should be.
I can also find the V3i within my k800i so it shouldnt be a bluetooth issue.
Whats wrong?!
(Headset is not from a china ebay vendor *g*)

You need to pair the headset first. See your phone manual and the DS970 manual for that procedure.

I think I've read somewhere that the K800i does have issues with connecting to non-Bluetooth v2 devices.
I had a T610 that would connecto to a Plantronics 320 behind-the-ear headset with no problem at all. Now, My K800i can't even see that it exists. So it may not be a pairing issue. I'm a bit upset that I have to buy a new headset now when the old one was more than adequate for any job!
Although if you know of a solution for this problem, please let me know! |

Isn't it the reverse? Don't you have to put the headset in pairing mode and then search it from your phone?
That's always how I do it with my phones and headsets.

Check out if you can use HBH-DS970 to two phones at the same time.
