One way is to read the manual...........

other than that:
- to Mater reset, go in Control panel -> Other -> Mater reset. You will loose most of your data
- To reset internal disk, use the secret menu. or so called serivce menus.
With the FO, click on the phone, and then follow this steps:
scroll up + * + scroll down + scroll down + * + scroll down
then choose format internal drive. This way u will loose ALL the data on the internal drive.

In both cases, the info on the card is not affected.

Restoring might bring back "bad" files. But yes, this is the idea.
Now if you want a clean phone, u should the 2 afore mentioned steps, then flash via SEUS, then repeat the steps. Ultimately, manually re-install ALL the apps. Do NOT restore, for a FULL and CLEAN refresh of the phone's OS.
Hell yeah, it's a pain, but it's a guaranteed solution.
So it's up to you.
Try the easy way first by restoring from a backup.
If you still don't like it, use the hard way (manual restore)
If you still don't like it, u could send it in to an SE center.
If you still don't like it..Well I guess u can get another phone then.

Or if you don't wanna restore the backup with 'bad' files, then don't do a backup, just synchronize your phone and re-synchronize after you've done the hard reset instead. It's the safest and fool-proof way.
