Problem with the USB connection of my K310i |

I installed the PL-2303 USB to Serial driver in my PC and the system assign the COM1 port, but when I connect my phone (using DCU-60 cable) the system asume an Unkown USB Devices like an USB controller not connected with the COM1 port. Anybody have any idea about how can I solve this problem?

What are you trying to do? Using DCU-60 does not require Serial to USB driver!
If you want driver for K310 you can get it here: http://ma3.extranet.sonyericsson.com/drivers/
If you want to flash driver get it from wotanserver/kulankendi website. Or the driver included with SEUS. |

I installed this drivers in my PC, but when I connect the USB cable the computer don't recognize the hardware and open an Unknowed USB connection. I was tried to install the drivers in this connection but the message is the driver is not correct to this software. Some iddea to solve this problem?

OK, here is something that I experience myself so I understand your frustration. Seems that SE phone is quite prone to this problem.
I believe this can be caused by 2 things. One is obviously the phone and the other is the PC itself.
I found out that SE phone need to be restarted by taking the batt out for 5-10mins once in a while (especially if something is wrong like unable to connect to USB, menu become slow, etc.). This seems to restart the phone completely. I have manage to fix this USB device unknown problem by taking the batt out for longer period.
The other is the PC itself, if you got to many other USB device or you are using USB HUB. Best thing is to plug USB cable directly to your PC and don't use too many other USB devices. Sometime maybe the win registry that is f*ck up and you even need to reinstall windoze to make it work reliably again.
