hi everyone!!
i have one question regarding my k800i. for my animated themes, has
anyone experiencing a slower movements in your background themes? in standby
mode where it shows moving object, my k800i runs slower and not
realistic to see. i compare this to my dads w810i and i'm a
little bit jelous to him because mine is such a slower one. it pauses for about .5secs
which causes to delay moving object. can anybody help me with this problem?
My free memory is almost 60mb in phone memory and 345mb in M2 card. Firmware if R1ED001.
Thanx a lot!

Can you tell us what theme it is or if its a downloaded one can you post it so we can check it on our phone?
The only time I've had this problem is when the background image is really high quality (or a huge file size). |

Debranding the phone means flashing the phone with the generic firmware from SE. Most mobile phone operators add/change things in the firmware and in some cases (such as Vodafone) the debranding totally changes the look and feel of the phone.
I don't think operator branding would cause the problem you are describing but on the off chance, who is your operator?
Also, try updating the firmware using the Sony Ericsson Update Service. This might help fix your problem. Other than that I would take it back to where you bought it. The themes that come with the phone certainly don't have any problems on any K800i's I have handled. |

I have the w810 and noticed I had a problem with the original
animated themes today. none of them actually move, they were working
perfectly when I got the phone 2 months ago. I took the battery out but
didn't seem to do anything. Any suggestions??! |

The newest one one SEUS is R1GB001. Thereīs a newer one but it hasnīt been released yet by SE. Older firmware versions had a problem where the menu animation stopped working but I'd never heard of the wallpaper not moving. Anyway, check out this thread: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=124349
