Were on the same wave length again Lee, I love boxing but im more a Hatton fan and get to as many of his fights that i can, the last one i made was his defining fight against Kostya Tsyzu, that was an awesome night.

I cant see the Calzaghe fight going other way than an mid round stoppage unless Calzaghe gets complacent, fingers crossed it will be a Calzaghe v Jermaine Taylor fight next [addsig]

i think Calzaghe will also win, but i really am interested in seeing what manfredo has to offer, that boy is a bloody good fighter but just seems to let himself down at teh last moment... im really looking forward to it

Amir Khan is going to be there too, along with about 10 other boxers i think... will be a good night of boxing

hatton is a animal to be fair a true underdog looking kinda guy with a beast inside

I cant see Manfredo offering much resistants to be fair, he was beaten twice and The Contender and he may have had a year or two's experience since then but if the proper Joe turns up it could turn out to be embarassing for Mafredo and could well end very early.

Im still undecided by Khan at the minute, yes he's looked good then he hasnt fought anybody worth anything yet so im reserving my judgment until he's had a few more fights.

I love Hatton and have followed him from early on in his career but he needs something big from his next fight as his last 2 or3 have been anything but convincing. [addsig]

i know what you mean about manfredo - i just feel hes got something he hasnt displayed yet..... maybe im wrong... i dont know...

and yeah, kahn hasnt really proved himself yet, but hes still fairly young and has a hell of a lot of boxing ahead of himself...

have you even been boxing j-j.. i did a lil bit when i was younger - even ahd the privellage of traing in the same gym as Calzaghe (i was about 16/17 at the time though and stopped before going to uni... ) - this was in cwmcarn

I would like too see calzaghe vs Hopkins or Taylor,
i feel he has ducked the best middleweights Lacy was a good middleweight but he wasnt in the same league as hopkins.

Boxing has turned Shit nowdays, Unless Boxing can find great heavyweights and middleweights i guess it could be the end for boxing.
All the heavyweight champs are crap and have no real competition, There isnt anyone who has any talent or anything special.
Id like too see hopkins beat calzaghe and move up to heavyweight.

A Couple of interesting fights would be this years contender winner Grady Brewer against last years winner the latin snake, or Peter Manfredo against Steve Forbes.
I agree with comments about the heavy weight division this is possibly because most of the titles are held by east european fighters who are slightly more reserved.
The Boxing industry needs some decent rivalries like leonnard, haggler, hearns and duran or closer to home watson benn eubank and collins

Shane Cameron is a good up-and-coming heavyweight from NZ with a zero loss record and a stack of knockouts to his credit. He holds several regional titles and has sparred with David Tua and Mike Tyson.

Boxing: Cameron mixes with Koncrete
5:00AM Sunday June 24, 2007
By Michael Brown

It's supposed to be the fight that creates headlines for Shane Cameron but his opponent is confident he will knock out the Kiwi heavyweight inside three rounds.

Kelvin "Koncrete" Davis is a former IBF world cruiserweight champion and has fought on a number of Roy Jones Jnr - for a long time recognised as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world - undercards.

He comes into Thursday's fight with a record of 24 wins (17 KOs), six losses and two draws and is seen as Cameron's most dangerous opponent to date. More...

Looking forward to this.

In the tradition of bizarre events associated with boxing; Shane Cameron has been unable to fight Kelvin 'Koncrete' Davis due to injuries Davis sustained when he jumped off a West Auckland bridge during a training run.

I've travelled over that bridge alot lately and its not a bridge you want to jump off. Unsurprisingly, Davis is in hospital with a broken back. A replacement was drafted in 3 days before the fight and Cameron knocked him over in the first round. Thats what happens when ranking 494 meets number 38 I guess.
