Tranquil in the time if took you to search that answer for him and the time it took you too type it you could have just answered his question. I don't get you guys when you post responses like that. Makes no sense to me. Just tell him YES it does and be done with it.

Yeah, basically TFT = Active matrix display
STN = Passive matrix display.

Ok but in a more simple way, what are the differences?!

I am no expert, but I think it's got something to do with how the pixels in the screen perform. For example, if you tilt a STN(passive) screen, the images would get dull(so to speak) and out of focus. And it's not as clear and bright as a TFT screen. - Something like that... Hope my poor explanation helped a bit....

The mening of coments like, "please search 1:St" is to get people to do a search before they ask.
If everybody did this, the board would comtain less threads.
But not everyone is familiar with the search function and it does a bad job somtime, soo..
When a new thing happneds, and everyone want to know or ask the same thing, it can get anying with 8 threads with the same statements and questions, but i dont care that much
Peace, love and understanding

tft does not mean active matrix....there are passive and active matrices on the tft screens.... p800 has a passive matrix tft actually...

@MrSavoy Did it ever strike you that I might have needed to use Search myself to find the answer?
