SE is gonna realese a luxury version of the T68. Only 8 phones will be made, all personalized, diamonds and gold and stuff, they will cost about 27000 € each

I think it's a pathetic idea.... Take a look at this site for example...look at all the complaints and problems people have with our "cheap" T68... If people would spend 27000EUROs on their phone, they'd want it to do much more than this....AND how much would it weigh? You'd have to insure it, you couldn't really use it in public places, couldn't let anyone hold it...

They're crazy....

People spending 27.000 € plus on a phone frankly I don't think cares about insurance or theft for that matter.

They would just buy a new one

I would like a gold/platinum/whilte gold/or titanium T68. Slightly heavier, VERY different.

It doesn't have to have diamonds, and a precious metal faceplate costs in the metal maybe $500, plus polishing work. The aftermarket guys already have the mould. Would be a nice market niche, say $1,000 for that. The diamonds are stupid.

Also, I am in an international circle, where we ALL have the latest GSM phones, and even my plastic gold T68 caused a cool reaction, when there were 15 T68s on the table, and only mine was different.

Any agreements/disagreements?
