@goldenface
It didnīt came with a memory stick at all! But I took the 1 GB card I had in my M600 and used it in this phone.
No, I asked the salesman at SE Experience Shop if they had the white one, but they didnīt have a single K550 to sell. (not even in black) I asked him about it, because on their swedish homepage it says that it exsist in white, but no store or internet-shop have a white one. He coulndīt answer me, but he thougt that some operator had reserved the white one for a while. Strange.
The UI is similar to the K750, but it looks more like the UI in K800. (so no, no major difference, only an evolution). I think mobile-review.com have nice pics on the UI. |

It wouldn't surprise me if Vodafone had snapped the white version up like they did when they desecrated the W900i

It is very nice! The screen is very clear and bold. Very large font on there too.
I would recommend this to anyone. It is the best mid-end phone I have ever used! Apart from the 2 mpix cam it's almost high end really. would be nice to have sofia in a similar shell.

I'm tempted to replace the front with a W610 one, keep the cybershot back and still walkman firmware on it!
A true hybrid!

@ k550i users:
how do you find the screen in comparison with the k750 and the k800? is the screen as bright, and shows accurate reproduction of color? what about the edges, any strong pixellation noticed?
i read that the screen is TFD, which is supposed to be inferior to TFT. thinking of getting this phone, but waiting for your opinions on this matter.
thanks, guys. |

The screen is excellent. Very vibrant and bright. Much better than K750 and easily on a par with K800.

is that so? glad to hear, thanks. what about the fonts used? you've mentioned 'large', meaning it's larger than the k800's fonts or...? |

Yeah same fonts but just seem a larger size. Very nice and easy to see.
I am extremely pleased with mine. Especially as it is supposed to be a "mid-end" phone.
