k750i error - wont turn on just a flashing red light. - help! |

Ok so the first time I opened up my k750i and took it apart I changed the housing and in doing so I broke the ribbon cable. So I bought a new ribbon cable from CNN.CN and replaced it. I turned it on and the camera was working fine for a few seconds and then I think the cable was abit loose and it stopped working.
I opened it up again and put the ribbon cable back on properly and after that my phone wouldn't turn on anymore. When I tried to turn it on the screen would be white for a second and then go black again. After that when I would try to turn it on a red light from the IR port just flashes a few times.
I've searched for this problem and it seems I have to flash the firmware on my phone to fix it. But the problem is I cant get the computer to recognise the phone. I am charging my second battery now and will test it with that later.
Any ideas what the problem is or has anyone had this problem also before? |

Try charging it for an entire night.

Ok tried charging my batteries again but it stopped charging halfway. I opened up the adaptor and found that a capicitor had blown. So not time to buy a new charger bah. |

nono I had a japanese plug and didn't have a proper adaptor to change it to an Aust plug so I had to first plug it into a UK adaptor then a UK->AUS adaptor hehe. The connectiong was loose and I had to hold it plugged in with tape. My new charge just arrived in the mail. Charged it overnight and still nothing. Tried to run SE update and it says it up to date.
However, I still can't turn on my phone it just goes to a white screen and then goes black again . |

Good thing that it's ONLY the CAPACITOR that was damaged . . . everytime I am seeing and hearing a blinking RED light on the IR port and shows a white screen, more often than NOT . . . it's a DEAD set am not sure though if it can still be resuscitated using any softwares

ok I was in the process of trying to update my firmware
http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=6389&st=
using that method and as it was about to connect it my phone turned on randomly and it seemed to work. Although after a while it freezes and the only buttons I can press to go anywhere are the short cut key or the power off button. -_-
so now my phone is working but it keeps freezing. tried to flash it but I think I have connection problems with my USB wire.
Any ideas why it keeps freezing? |
