Nokia will launch its revamped N-Gage mobile gaming platform in September according to Nokia's official blog.
ESATO NEWS
Nokia’s official blog states that: "We expect EA Mobile and Gameloft to bring a number of top-selling, award winning titles to our platform between our launch in September and the end of 2007."
It continues: “They aren’t the only ones, as throughout the year we will continue to make exciting announcements of other leading publishers adding their titles to our games catalogue."
The blog itself confirms that stories carried on some mobile gaming sites last week regarding a N-Gage unveiling and secret publisher meetings respectively were accurate.
Nokia has already confirmed that the newly revamped N-Gage will not be a standalone console as before, but an embedded gaming platform within Nokia’s Series 60 smartphones.

there will be another n-gage thats for sure and its coming out soon (most probably at GDC) any way i thought i should she this thing:

well its now clear they are going to use the NVIDIA GOforce 5500 becose if you watch the samurai in here:

and you watch the nokia robot (from the 1:29 untill the 1:39 minute) you will see that thayr both using the same moves!!! exactly the same moves!!
in my opinion nokia was working on n-gage since it showed that video in E3 and im not afraid to say that the new n-gage is coming out in stores this spring (only assumptions but im pritty sure thats the case)
the new n-gage will be looking very similar to the QD but in widescreen and it will be as said before a game centric device

hate to poo poo the idea of a new n-gage phone! but it aint happenin!
N-gage 2 is just a platform that will allow users with compatible phones (N73 and N95 to begin with) to download trial games and full games an play multiplayer games without the hassle of tryin to find the right place or connectin it to a pc etc...
U download the N-gage2 arena app an then select the downloads u want!!!
There is definately NO N-GAGE phone in the making! TRUST ME! |
