whats up with my internet |

Im not really an expert on the internet. Yesterday we got sky broadband and its brilliant. Downloading things was really fast all of yestersay and most of today, but for the past few hours is started to get really slow. Here was my speed yesterday:

and here it is now:
as you can see its been getting much slower. downloading was likev 300kb/s, now im lucky if it reaches 35kb/s. Does anybody know why it has become so much slower and how i can solve it? thanks

its meant to be unlimited download but the limit is something like 300gb. so in other words no i dont have a limit.

restart pc unplug router etc, but i dont think this will work, i wouldnt really woory about it i htink its something wrong at sky's end. Just watch fora couple days and if it doesnt fix give them a call |

np it appes wiv my internet, on my familys desktop pc its slow as f**k but on my laptop its propa fast |

i have this problem quite often, when i completely reset my router/modem it usually fixes the problem.
If that doesnt help may be worth asking you ISP if youve been fuped, meaning your download speed has been capped due to excessive downloads. ISP's still cap your downloads if you download too mcuh even if your on unlimited.

I think you may be suffering from what I have been fighting my service provider about for ages. It's called Contention Ratio. Basically, it has to do with how many other connections are using the available bandwith. See here for more details: http://www.idnet.net/broadband/contentionratio.jsp
