Been considering the following 3 headsets an would appreciate your thoughts.

Its very tempting.... but will I be sacrificing much in quality or features just for the extra gizmo. And does anybody know just how it would connect to my hi-fi ?

Not sure about the ones you listed, but they have some in Costco which look quite good, and they were cheaper than the first 2 you listed, May be worth a look.
