What can be said other than it's exciting times? Neonode has learnt some lessons they'll probably never forget.

If you ever got the chance to try their previous models, you'll probably agree that the UI was very intuitive and extremely cool to use. If their third phone is made with better material and equipped with bluetooth/W-LAN, it's a definite buy.

Press release
02-02-2007
Swedish mobile phone set the trend for 3GSM
Neonode – a Swedish developer of mobile devices and a pioneer in buttonless touchscreen mobile phones – will be presenting a new phone at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona.
Apple’s Iphone and several other manufacturers can see the benefits of the concept and are now following the lead set by Neonode.
Neonode introduced its first buttonless and fully touchscreen controlled mobile phone as early as 2004. Now, three years later,
the concept is expected to be a powerful trend setter in the sector.
Neonode’s new mobile are being exhibited at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona from February 12th to February 15th,

and will be released onto the European market during the spring.

“We will be exhibiting a strong product, which shows that one does not need to be the biggest to be at the forefront of development,” says Tommy Hallberg, CEO of Neonode AB.
Neonode is now on the verge of listing on the US NASDAQ stock exchange through a merger with SBE, Inc,
thus providing a sound financial platform for the future of the company.

Follow the birth of the new mobile on http://www.neonode.com or visit us at the 3GSM World Congress
in Barcelona from February 12th to February 15th.

Wow, i would so get one of these if it actually delivers on the promises of the 1st one.

Not quite sure of the design, but i'm sure the finished article will be nice and slick. I've always liked the Neo interface, but somehow the product always seemed disappointing to what could have been.

Guess we'll see soon!

If they manage to manufacture this and implement a nice and working UI they have hit the spot big time! I think this should sell...

I expect it to fail just like before because they don't take small things in marketing seriously.

They should be encouraging people to make apps by letting the public view their forums and in time take part like every other forum but they have it closed off till someone blindly registers.

They're website is/was the only place to buy the phone however there was no detailed walkthrough of the features. Just that its got a calender/mp3 player/touchscreen. Many people will (like I did) have to turn away right there.

The phone is almost there and its got a gimmick but everything else needs to be looked at.
