I've been the proud owner of a w850i for 2 days now and I am loving it. The only thing I'm not loving is the Orange firmware that seems to spoil the phone.
As an Orange customer I've had 3 free music downloads which I've happily used, but the phone keeps telling me I am trying to play a song that I haven't acquired the license for. I've been through the steps it has told me to go through to acquire the license and even phoned Orange about it.
To my horror, Orange have advised that there is a known issue with the w850i and the Orange network in that the w850i is not compatible with Orange music downloads. I've used SEUS to put the latest firmware on my phone to see if that helps, but it doesn't. I'm just having problems with the phone randomly switching itself off now. What's the point in Orange selling a walkman phone that's not compatible with their downloads!?
