 | Hey all--
I'm the proud new owner of a T300 (it looks much smaller in real life than in the commercials they've been airing), but I'm not able to sync it up with my laptop via IR (and I'm assuming it's possible because others have been able to get it to work). It seems to be doing something over IR, as the little icon in the system tray changes from the "T300 in range" to the communicating one (little bars traveling back and forth) while XTNDConnect is trying to communicate, but it times out and says "Unable to detect phone. Verify that the phone is connected to the PC".

Maybe I have the wrong software? I've downloaded and installed Package5_1_5_2 and Package1_1_5_1. Also, I've tried decreasing the maximum speed all the way down to 9,600 (although I'm able to transfer sounds and pictures back and forth when it's set to 4,000,000). I don't think a virtual COM port is showing up for the IR port--does it need to?

 Thanks!

 | I have no experience of laptops. But I use Win2k together with a XTND Access JetEye. And that works great ! |

 | Cool! You can sync with this setup? What software are you using? Is it one of the Package# files from SE, or is there some software that came with the JetEye?
 Thanks
