every time i power off and on the phone, i get the VM icon. however, when i check there is NO voice messages out there.
does anyone have the same problem?

u should visit a nokia service, maybe its a fw problem. is your fone branded?

Or make a call to your phone company (orange, etc), and explain them your problem.

hi there,
i do not think this is FW related. because i have two accounts with T-mobile in San Francisco, and when i power off and on with the other SIM card (other account), i do not see that VM icon. it keeps telling me i have one new message when in fact i do not. |

Hmm, sfaguy,
is that the same phone that won't let you install sisx-files... ? If it is it's an N73 (well done, Watson), ergo, still within warranty... Do anything to get a new one (get an e61/62 and buy a cheap camera!). Honestly, for the money you don't have to put up with it... Don't wait for the "bestest new and improved firmware" - stick it in a cheap microwave oven (remove the battery first, though!!!)...
