can you flash the firmware from a SE k310 to a k500i ? |

this may sound stupid but as far as I know both they capabilities are the same,indeed the k310 has Bluetooth & some bigger memory but I was wondering if you ca put the firmware of a k310 to a k500i to "refresh" the old menu sistem...I like the full screen thing & the notes & quick menu thing...so...what do you say?can it be done or not?

It's totally impossible. They are of different CID/ different security certificates. |

oh...well i didn't know that one...but are they any phones that share the same CID version with K500 & have better softwares?I mean...better UI cose I'm kinda bored with this old one...

I don't need a new phone cose I allready bought a new one,a Samsung E900 wich is my main phone but I wanted to make my old k500 a bit "newer" but if I can't then I'm just gonna stick to the usual changeable themes...

When I buyed my SonyEricsson k500i that was only cose the phone was a total hit here in Romania,there where advertises everywhere,it was a must have.
Now,I liked the Samsung E900 for it's design,none of the SonyEricsson had a luxorious design,yeah,maybe Black Diamond but I can't afford that so I have choisen The E900 cose my style is more elegant,classic now...
Oh & btw...I'm like totaly into Blackberryes although it's a non popular brand here in Romania...I would like a Blackberry Pearl,8100,but...I don' have a clue....are Blackberryes good?
Or should I change my phone to SE k800i?(I like that two..)

Mada, i remember u as having posted some k500-related post long back - i think it was abt posting a pic of our k500 or something like that... i promised but never did it  and i remember u having referred to ur phone as "him"  ) so what makes u move away?? (btw me too planning to buy a w810 this june or so )

Well yeah...I tend to consider my mobile phone a part of me cose if I don't have my phone with me,I lack the comunication & since I'm a very comunicative person It's like I'm muted or def of something...
Anyway...I wanted a new phone real bad cose I stayd with my k500i like 3 years & that's preety much for me...so when I finaly got the money to buy a new phone I went str8 foward to E900 both cose I liked it's desing & for the specs...
But guys...I still have my K500i & my Z200!
I will never sell them to buy a new phone...I just...let's say "collect" them...
But I would be a lot happyer if I could have a SonyEricsson K800i or something big,with good camera,a hell of a lot sound quality & loudness plus a memory card...those are the qualities my phone should have & this darn Samsung phone has only a good camera (for day to day shots) & a memory card...other than that the whole phone is borring...you can't hear it if it rings on outdoors...overall it's design is all that makes the phone cose inside it's preety plain & it doesn't satisfy you...
God I want new phone...& I want it bad!!!
