I'm afraid there's no way to watch YouTube vids directly on PIE. I'l check on dat n post in l8r...

EDIT: PocketIE doesn't hav Macromedia Flash support. If u wanna watch YouTube video on ur fon, u gotta use ur PC. You may use ' Total Video Converter ' to convert .FLV files to .WMV

Somethin bout my WM hardware...

I'm usin a Motorola MPx200 smartfon. The phone originally came with WindowsMobile 2002.
That was a crappy OS.

Incidentally this same fon was used as a test hardware when WM5 was developed. The ROM leaked & I was able to get it.

Thus began my happy journey with WM. WM5 no doubt is a great improvement over the previous WM versions.

I've heard that a WM6 (Crossbow) ROM is also on the way for MPx200. Shall keep u updated on dat!

You can indeed have flash support in PIE. I used to have it, version 7 i think or 8. Worked well. It is very hard to find, think i came across it on www.freecabs.de

Why the $$ in the title too? People always putting Microsoft down with that, i dont know...

Looks like you aren't too familiar with the mods on esato then.... one of the mods...at the most visible mod is a long standing wm user himself....and a very prolific one at that

i-Mate K-JAR Pocket PC phone sighted at FCC - American approval organization

i-Mate K-JAR still has not been announced and is not depicted on the website of i-mate - probably because i-mate is going to announce this and other phones at 3GSM conference next month, but FCC already has leaked information about it:

Some highlights about this phone:

* while i-mate branded version is called "i-mate K-JAR" ("K-" denotes QWERTY keyboard, "JAR" denotes rotable display) in reality tihs phone is manufactured by Tech Faith Wireless in China and has model name "Pam"

* this phone has "sub-LCD" (a small external display) that is working also when main display is covered when the phone is closed

* mini-USB connector in USB 1.1 standard

* pre-installed: Java MIDP 2.0

* 240x320 touch screen display

* 2 megapixel camera

* GSM tri-band (GSM850 is missing, but we expect that special version with both American bands for American market will be available too)

* processor: OMAP 730 at 200 MHz

* WAN connectivity: GPRS, but no EDGE (!?) and no 3G (UMTS/HSPA)

* built-in short-range wireless: Bluetooth and Wi-Fi

Conclusion: i-mate K-JAR has nice design and particularly it is highly usable also in closed mode but lack of EDGE and 3G will put off most people.
