Can anyone tell me the address of a company or website that will let me set up a pop3/smtp email account for free. I need this because i want to receive the emails on my phone. Have you guys got any ideas.

don't forget to enable pop access in the gmail settings (under the forwarding and pop tab)

Does gmail still require an invitation? I thought one could easily sign up these days...

I did hear that gmail no longer requires invitations in one or two countries, but it still requires an invitation in most countries including uk

Yeah. Thats the one I use, its very easy to set up. If you need the yahoo settings just ask.

If your on O2 you can use their website and settings to use POP3 on your phone.
