Just went to listen to music on my W810, and the right earphone doesn't work. I tried another pair of earphones, and again it is the right one that doesn't work. How do I clean the 3.5mm adapter that came with the phone, or is it broken, please help, as I need them for tomorrow.

It could possibly be the connector to the FastPort, I've come across this before.

Try waggling the connector carefully to see if the right earphone comes back on, if not try cleaning the Fastport connector, and check the HPM's connector for any damage, missing/sticking pins etc.

Are you sure it`s the adapter? It could be the bit that goes into the phone or the bottom of the phone.

Had a feeling it would be something to do with the connector! Try giving the contacts on the phone a clean with something like a toothbrush, it might help a bit

Adding to what Sammy said, just put a bit of alcohol on the brush or use cotton buds (again dipped in alcohol). Don't completely soak it though, squeeze off the excess. That worked for me.
