This image is circulating around Arab websites and forums, people claiming that Saddam’s smiling face appears on The Moon..." Think what you will, but I can see it.

Nothing a little photoshoping couldn't produce.
Besides, I also see a person flat on their back. Looks dead to me  (I also see Pacman, and the Letter C.. whether this means he was a pill head and eating other ghosts maybe a point of conjecture) |

it might be easlier to prove its a fake with a link to the original image but, for surely you don't believe its real?
anyway, for comparison, here is an image of the moon which is not too far off in orientation from that pic
I guess if we could find the exact image that has been manipulated that would also be conclusive proof, but common sense from the number of similar features shown there tells me that its a photo well positioned over an image of the moon with a certain amount of transparancy to show features from both

I don't even know if it was taken with a Original image?..why i said i can't be sure if its fake or not is because sometimes we do translate images in objects into more recognisable things,a simple example of this is Clouds which are often seen as Space ships,Giant fish and other animal shapes, therefore its quite easy for people to translate the dark patches of the moon into a face in i.e in this case Saddams or as one person said here Stalin.
You may also remember the Martian face on Mars over which there was a huge conspiracy for many years although we now know it was simply shadows on the hill.

Its easy to make just copy the Saddams pic onto the moon and play with the opague settings.
