W810i headphones volume problem |

HI all,
I've recently bought another w810i for my girlfriend cause she loved mine so much (I've had mine since august 2006), but here is the problem:
This new phone is not at all as loud as my old one, when played in Walkman mode with volume to the max AND equalizer to the max as well in the manual set up it is still about 70-80% of the normal level from the old one.
In old one there is R4DB005, new one has R4EA031 software.
Are there any restrictions by the new software in terms of loudness, I have tried everything to get it loud. BTW headphones are fine, tried them in my old one and they got superb sound.

Try re-update via SEUS and click Continue Anyway if yours is the latest. In some cases, it may solve the problem. Some W810i users reported that after reupdate, Mega Bass is back. It may be of the same circumstance as you have. Good luck. |

the new one has the latest FW(R4E) and the old one got the older(R4D). so i think the volume was decreased in the new one, just like K750's R1DB

Thanks for reply, I've tried with new update like you said and no luck there. It is actually quite notable now, when you compare the two, "Megabass" on the new is almost undetectable, not to mention loudness.
p.s. thanks tranced for info, Why would they do that,it is a music phone after all!
Any ideas?

if your regarding what i sed i dont think 7eur is hardly gonna dent the bank balance, or if it is then use kulankendi with the login:kulan and password:kulan =P |
