Hi, I have a new K800i and I bought a 1GB M2 memory card for it, as the 64MB memory is quite rubbish.

I have installed the drivers for the phone and all the applications, but I cannot seem to put files onto the memory of the M2 card, I can only put files onto the phone. The phone recognizes the card (when you scroll to the right in file manager, anyway, it comes up) but when I connect the phone to the computer by USB, the only thing I can explore is E:/Phone, no memory card, and this is the only thing which shows up in Disc2Phone, too. When i go to file manager through SE PC Suite when the device is in phone mode, however, there is a memory stick folder.

Can anybody please help? Basically I want to be able to get pictures from my memory card onto the computer, but most of all to transfer music from Disc2Phone onto the memory card. I've tried everything I can think of. I don't have a memory card reader on my PC so I can't even take it out of the phone and try that.

Thanks for any help!

Sam

Oh, also, when I accessed the folders in the SE PCS file manager, I tried dragging a song file into the memory card folder but an "unexpected error" occurred.

Do I have to install drivers for the M2 card or something? And if so, where are they?

Thanks!

Well, no need to install anything. Have you tried to format the card from phone? If still can't then try to format using PC (take it out from phone, use MS adapter and MS card reader), then format it again using the phone.

I agree. First format it in the PC, then in the phone. The phone will put the folders on it it likes to see.
