W850i: memory stick not recognized in Windows 2000

When I connect it to my PC (windows 2000), it detects new hardware and installs the drivers for it: Sony Ericsson Device 038 USB ethernet emulation: OK Sony Ericsson Device 038 USB WMC Data modem: OK Sony Ericsson Device 038 USB WMC modem: OK However, it then also detects the memory stick and for some reason windows 2000 does not find the drivers for it. I tried putting the phone in "transfer mode" and "phone mode" while connected but no luck. I uninstalled/re-installed pc-suite a number of times but still windows 2000 won't recognize the memory stick. I believe it is supposed to just see as a USB storage device, at least that's what my laptop says. Any ideas anyone ? Here is a link to a picture from the device manager:

kjilorv Joined: Nov 09, 2004 Posts: 6 PM	Posted: 2007-01-20 23:58 Fixed it myself. There was a wrong entry in the registry which I managed to fix by comparing it with a PC on which the W850i was recognized correctly.
